Leading up to the largest commemoration and celebration in American history, America250 is planning a multi-year, national effort to engage, educate, and unite Americans from sea to shining sea through a variety of tentpole programs.
From fireworks and concerts to landmark gatherings across the country, America250 will lead a five-day national celebration July 1–5, 2026. Together, these moments will form the shared experiences that will unite 350 million Americans and define our American Semiquincentennial for generations to come. Mark your calendar!

Mar. 9, 2026 — New York, NY
Representatives of America250 rang the bell to open the New York Stock Exchange on Monday, March 9. NYSE is partnering with America250 on initiatives that elevate financial literacy, spotlight American companies and workers, and connect historical reflection with forward-looking conversations about economic opportunity
Feb. 8, 2026 — Santa Clara, CA
In partnership with the NFL, America250 played a prominent role in Super Bowl LX. A giant America250 flag was unfurled on the field, players wore a special USA 250 patch, and the Our American Story Airstream trailer appeared at events around the weekend.
Jan. 6–9, 2026 — Las Vegas, Nevada
America250 Chair Rosie Rios spoke on the main stage about America Innovates and the Our American Story Airstream trailer had a dedicated booth space at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Jan. 1, 2026 — Pasadena, California
Hundreds of America250 volunteers pitched in to build “Soaring Onward Together for 250 Years,” an iconic float featured in the 137th Rose Parade and Floatfest in Pasadena. The float was recognized with the Leishman Public Spirit Award.
Dec. 31, 2025 — New York, New York
America250 was featured in a surprise second post-midnight ball drop, lit up with an America250 design and accompanied by 2,000 pounds of red, white, and blue confetti.
Dec. 1–31, 2025 — Washington, D.C.
In partnership with the Office of the First Lady, America250 sponsored the Christmas decorations in the East Room of the White House. All of the decorations were themed around America’s 250th anniversary.
Nov. 29, 2025 — Auburn, Alabama
The America250 logo was painted on the 50-yard line and in each end zone at the 90th Iron Bowl Game between Auburn University and the University of Alabama. The Our American Story Airstream trailer and Ram truck appeared at Auburn University before the game and on gameday.
Jul. 29, 2025 — Washington, D.C.
America250 launched Our American Story on the National Mall in Washington, DC with Chair Rosie Rios, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, and NFL Hall of Famer and former Washington Redskin Darrell Green.
May 25, 2025 — Charlotte, North Carolina
America250, in partnership with Coca-Cola, activated at the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina with a 250-themed fan zone.
Apr. 21, 2025 — Washington, D.C.
In partnership with the Office of the First Lady, America250 had an activation on the South Lawn during the White House Easter Egg Roll.
