Matt White serves as the strategy lead for America250 and is responsible for identifying the organization’s programmatic priorities and ensuring these priorities are achieved.

Matt has significant experience developing programs for large-scale organizations and pursuing inclusive solutions for communities. Prior to joining America250, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he advised federal agencies, state governments, and nonprofit institutions on a range of mission advancement topics, including strategy, innovation, and partnership development. Matt also previously served as an Assistant Commissioner for the City of New York, directing policy and planning for the largest adult workforce development system in the country. He began his career in public service as a New York City Urban Fellow.

Matt holds a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He serves on the Board of Directors of St. Leonard’s Ministries in Chicago, IL, an organization providing housing and supportive services for individuals returning from incarceration.
