Brandon Stokes comes to America250 Foundation with a highly diverse background and experience in philanthropy. As Chief Development Officer, Brandon will lead the largest and most inclusive fundraising commemoration in U.S history, America’s 250th anniversary. Brandon will build and implement a national development strategy that will provide every American an opportunity to support the 250th anniversary.

Brandon brings many years of experience leading national campaigns and leadership experience with organizations such as Boy Scouts of America, American National Red Cross, United Way Worldwide, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Food Allergy Research Education, where he served in many different fundraising leadership roles. During his career, Brandon has worked with some of the top Fortune 100-1000 companies across the globe. Brandon brings a unique skill set to the foundation and will look to successfully implement a culture of philanthropy that unites all Americans. Brandon’s robust background includes enterprise-level corporate partnerships, major gifts, principal gifts, startup/grassroots campaigns, and high-level strategic fundraising.  Over Brandon’s career, he has secured six-eight figure gifts and generated millions of dollars for multiple billion-dollar organizations.

Brandon also served as the previous Board Chairman of Saint Augustine’s University YAC Alumni Council; he currently serves on the Advisory Board for Strayer University and serves on the board for Accelerating Men, Inc.

Mr. Stokes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Performance and Wellness and a Master of Business Administration Degree. Brandon was an All- American Track & Field Athlete and was a 110-meter Hurdle finalist in the 2004 Jr Olympics. Brandon currently resides in the Washington, DC Metro area.
